New Year Resolutions

Happy New Year’s Eve Lovelies, what a year it has been! I’ve got a feeling I’m gonna have a bit more luck than this year. Although with everything going on, it has been such an amazing year and I have been bless with the adventures I have been on and got to share with my closest friends and family! I was ever so lucky to go to Paris with Chanel, to Greece spontaneously last minute instead of Marrakech, Spain & Portugal with a lot of my family and friends, Festivals, LFW and all the amazing 21st in between! It has been such a wonderful year with a few hiccups along the journey!

So I wanted to talk about what I am thinking of my new year resolutions and how I am hoping to approach them. I think with new year resolutions it is like a ‘diet’, you can’t go cold turkey straight away and expect to not cave…you will! one step at a time is key, you can’t just jump into anything…if you can, you go gurrrllll!Continue reading “New Year Resolutions”

Quick Plant Base | Gluten Free Curry

Hello everyone so people saw on my instagram snapchat the other week I made a delicious curry and was requested how I made it, so I thought this week I would share with you guys.

so for the meal I made the other week, it made 4 portions which molly and I had for dinner and then the next day both for lunch. At the begining of the week I chopped up a whole butternutsquash into chunks to use with in the week so for this recipe you can choose either sweet potato, butternut squash or potato.

Recipe

  • Madras spice paste
  • 1 can of tomatos
  • 1 can of chickpeas
  • 1 sweet potato
  • Spinach
  • 1/2 red onion
  • Handful of spinach

Instructions

  1. In a saucepan put some oil and chopped up 1/2 red onion
  2. Chop the sweet potato into chunks and place in the microwave for a couple of minutes, to soften, this makes it quicker!
  3. once finished place the sweet potato in the saucepan to fry off with the onions
  4. After a couple of minutes put 2-3 tablespoons of the paste in the saucepan and stir, so that the onions and potato are marinated in the paste
  5. Add the can of tomatos and chickpeas with spinach
  6. leave to cook for 5-10 mixtutes, till you think it is ready.

serve with salad, rice or popadoms and enjoy!

This is the paste I have used, it seems to be all natural, no gluten and no dairy!

Riddle & Finns | Gluten Free | Cocktails At Be At One

Happy Sunday, hope everyone had a lovely weekend and prepared for the week to come!

Here is another lovely Brighton restaurant review

As you may know I love going out for food and drinks, exploring different restaurants, cultures, fresh food and fun atmosphere. One place I have been dying to go to is a fish restaurant in Brighton, Riddle and Finns. The interior is so beautiful with an old english style with high tables, marble surfaces and on going candles. I went with my lovely friend Kieran and both our mums and what a fantastic night it was. We obviously had to start with some prosecco, the bread come and they were so kind, when they were aware I was gluten free, they came with buckwheat flour mini pancakes, which were so delicious and light.
(For people who don’t, know buckwheat is a gluten free alternative grain)Continue reading “Riddle & Finns | Gluten Free | Cocktails At Be At One”
