Textiles BA Project

Our first trip was to Brownsea Island, just off of Poole Harbour to get some primary research for our topic. I was drawn to the category of fungus and different characters with in this title. From the primary research I have developed designs and textures using a variety of media.

My Breakfast

You hear a lot that “breakfast is the most important meal of the day”, and I am not going to lie but they are telling the truth! it really is!
especially if you want to loose weight, If you miss breakfast you can end up craving sugary and fatty food, which is not good. So adding oatmeal to your lifestyle will make you feel and look good.

I don’t really do the whole diet thing, it’s a life style choice!

The beginning of Textile BA

I thought I would start posting a visual diary of my journey with my Textile course,
It has been over 4 weeks, since I have been studying Textiles BA at Bournemouth University of Arts… it has gone so quickly. I have to say that I am really enjoying it, and would highly recommend going to Bournemouth University of Arts. We have been offered so much in the duration of being here, not only a lot of support but with in the course, we have already been offered a variety of trips, recently had a presentation with a high-end inspirational designer, Louise Alfree, who has had an inspiring career with a company called Hodge sellersand has had the opportunity to design for Louis Vuitton, Chanel, Alaia, Topshop, Calvin Klein and many more, which was so amazing.Continue reading “The beginning of Textile BA”

Hair Talk – out of the shower

Every body has a massive love hate relationship with their hair, it’s never just right.
Over the past 6 months I have been obsessed with curling my hair, pretty much twice a day which is very dangerous because sadly I was not lucky in the department of receiving my mum’s thick locks, I have very thin fragile hair which seriously gets effected when I am caught in different emotions and does fall out…
Here are some products which I will highly recommend, to help strengthen and protect your hair and these products have also been recommended by my Mum, who is a hair dresser and other friends we know with in the industry.Continue reading “Hair Talk – out of the shower”

The time is coming, which i find very exciting, it’s the time of the year I can put a massive coat on and eat loads of food, drink an excessive amount of hot chocolate and no one will ever know!
My favourite time of Autumn & Winter is the crisp mornings and the sun beaming through the bright colour palette of the autumnal reds and yellow leaves.

It is time for stocking up with all the big coats and cosy jumpers, I had recently received this gorgeous coat from my friend Lee Murray who designs coats for retails, such as; Miss Selfridge & Urban Outfitters.
I believe this is a Miss Selfridge design & it is fabulous!
I do admit and you will notice this over a few posts, I am very fond of wearing “all black everything”… and so this is a very big applause to me haha.Continue reading “#OOTD”
