Hello everyone so people saw on my instagram snapchat the other week I made a delicious curry and was requested how I made it, so I thought this week I would share with you guys.
so for the meal I made the other week, it made 4 portions which molly and I had for dinner and then the next day both for lunch. At the begining of the week I chopped up a whole butternutsquash into chunks to use with in the week so for this recipe you can choose either sweet potato, butternut squash or potato.
Madras spice paste
1 can of tomatos
1 can of chickpeas
1 sweet potato
1/2 red onion
Handful of spinach
In a saucepan put some oil and chopped up 1/2 red onion
Chop the sweet potato into chunks and place in the microwave for a couple of minutes, to soften, this makes it quicker!
once finished place the sweet potato in the saucepan to fry off with the onions
After a couple of minutes put 2-3 tablespoons of the paste in the saucepan and stir, so that the onions and potato are marinated in the paste
Add the can of tomatos and chickpeas with spinach
leave to cook for 5-10 mixtutes, till you think it is ready.
serve with salad, rice or popadoms and enjoy!
This is the paste I have used, it seems to be all natural, no gluten and no dairy!

So, for one of my Christmas Presents I received an Origins Gift Box! This was an amazing deal, as the box was worth £150 but with mini sizes of the products, it came to £40! …£40! which is amazing! I think this is such a good idea, as you are able to try all the products out, before committing to buy the actual product prices! What a lovely day it was yesterday and we get to do it all again today! Yesterday my family hosted Christmas day at ours, we did it a bit different this year, we did a party instead of a sit down meal and it was so lovely. My dad and mum cooked an amazing feast, lots of bubbles and dancing. We spent it with a lovely group of friends and family. Today we are going to the Murray’s house, one of our family friends and having chilli con carne & live singing xxxx
For this post today, I thought I would share some of the Christmas Present I received from family & friends as they are so lovely, and such special gifts.
So yesterday, I went to London with my friends and family for Iceskating at Somerset house (click here for ticket links) and a lovely Christmas dinner at Simpsons (click here website). Doing special days out like this, gets you in the festive mood, seeing the city all decorated with large Christmas ornaments and Christmas lights.
We try to do this every year and it is so special, fun and alcoholic! shouldn’t every day of Christmas be like this?!

So I haven’t been blogging recently as it has been very hectic but keep in tune as this weekend I have a few things coming your way!
So I hope everyone is having a lovely week, the weather is a bit gloomy but hey ho. So I thought I would share what I have been recently been up to in my Textiles course. So if you have seen my previous Textile blog post, then you would know that we have been exploring creating prints using the technique of screen print and now we are furthering these prints onto digital and further manipulating into more designs. At first I wasn’t enjoying creating new prints as my screen prints were finals and personally didn’t need carrying on but I got the hang of it and here we go!
Well doesn’t this look appetising! Today in class we learnt how to create wounds using FX wax and sculpturing cuts into the skin.
I learnt about what weapons create different wounds and how the skin turns different colour shades with different traumas.
Here is a quick post, before I go off to my make-up course tonight, Being a Uni student, cooking meals is time-consuming right? but here is a quick cheap stir fry which will fill you up and it is so simple.
You are gonna need:
oil (sesame oil)
Soy or Tamari (gluten free option) Sauce
& what ever vegetables you have in your fridge – mine was mushrooms, peas, goji-berries and broccoli.
5 minutes starting now!
put the kettle on
get the pan on, put a splash of oil and chopped up chilli in
place the rice noodles in a bowl and pour in boiling hot water to cover them, leave it there to soak.
chop vegetables up and put in the pan
add soy or tamari sauce stir up for a few minutes
drain the rice noodles and place the veg in the dish
TA DAH! … see told you its quick, cheap and not a faff being healthy and cooking yummy fresh food!
